This has been a great week. I hope all Moms received their Mother's Day Invitations for next week. Please be sure to reserve the times to come in and celebrate with your student! Penguins are welcome on Friday, May 6 from 10:45 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. and Polar Bears are welcome on May 6th as well, from 2:30 - 3:00 p.m. We look forward to seeing you!

Please check your invitations carefully. I had quite a lot of papers for the kids to work on today, and your child may have inadvertently signed a Penguins paper. If so, please send it back tomorrow, and we will fix it!!

We had great week of Community Helpers! Thanks to Dr. and Mrs. Garrido, Mrs. McKenna, Mrs. Leedale, Katie Miller (Cy's Grandma) and Sandy Quick for visiting us and teaching us about Doctors, Nurses, Pharmacies and Postal Workers. A big shout out to Mrs. Pangborn and Mrs. Yehle who helped in the classroom this week. I appreciate your time with the kids. If you need to contact me, my school email has been established. We had a very busy week in the preschool. We learned about Community Helpers and had some very special visitors to our room. The Bookmobile arrived, as did Nurse Practitioner Terri Hempleman and Bailey, Mrs. Cotterman's dog. Mrs. Cotterman is the Teacher Aide in the class until the end of the year. She is a wonderful addition to the classroom and the kids love her. She worked in a preschool for 4 years and taught 2-3 year olds. The kids have done very well this week and have transitioned well.
