Happy Spring Break

Thank you all for the kind words and generous gifts this week. I appreciate how thoughtful and understanding everyone was during this transition. It made this difficult week much more enjoyable and easier. I love your children dearly and I will miss each and every one of them.

Remember, there is no school next week because it is Spring Break! :)

A Few Announcements

Volunteers Wanted!
During the weeks of April 4th and April 11th we will be learning about community helpers. If you (or a relative or family friend) work in the community, help others and would like to volunteer to come in part of the day during these two weeks to share about your job, please let me know! Since this is more of a presentation and not working directly with the children, everyone is welcome and volunteers do not have to be fingerprinted or have Protecting God's Children.

Summer Birthdays!
I know a lot of students will have birthdays over the summer. We would like everyone to get a chance to celebrate their birthday with their friends. If your child has a summer birthday, please pick a day that you would like to celebrate in the classroom. Treats may be brought in and parents may join us for snack time and bring a book to share with the class. Please let the preschool know a few days before you would like to celebrate so we can mark you on the calendar. Thanks!

Protecting God's Children Seminar
Blessed Sacrament, 394 East Main St., Newark, is hosting a Protecting God's Children Seminar on Saturday, March 26th at 9 am in the school cafeteria. In keeping with VIRTUS polity, no one will be admitted to this session after the first video has started. Go to www.virtus.org to register for session. Please remember that in order to work with or volunteer around children of our parish, school and Diocese, you must attend a session of Protecting God's Children and have a background check on file with the School and/or Parish Office. For more information contact the parish at 345-4290.

Here is this week's newsletter and a copy of the parent letter that was sent home on Friday. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

Welcome March!

Next week's theme is rainbows. We are asking that everyone wear a color of the rainbow for daily sorting and graphing activities!

Donations Needed: In our efforts of trying to minimize germs spreading, we are running low on tissues and disinfecting wipes. If you would like to donate any, it would be greatly appreciated!

Now that Spring is around the corner hopefully the weather will start being nicer. We will be trying to get outside for a little bit each day. Please make sure to send your child with appropriate cold weather clothing.
