Happy Friday!

Thank you to all the parents who have enrolled your children for next year. It is wonderful having so many students continuing on in our Preschool program. For those of you who are still interested in registering your child, please do so by early next week. The PreK Polar Bears are very full and starting Wednesday I will no longer be holding spots for current families and will be enrolling new students. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns about this.

If you would like a parent teacher conference and have not turned in a form, please do so soon! I will be sending out emails to everyone who did turn in their sheet early next week.

Our Valentine's Day parties are coming up in two weeks! There are sign up sheets in the hallway for parents to volunteer to help out in the classroom and also to donate items for the celebration. If you have already volunteered to help in the classroom, please allow other parents to have a chance to sign up first. Thanks! Here are a few facts about the parties:
  • Penguins' Party - Wednesday, February 10th, 10:15-11:15 am. Doors will open for all parents at 11:15.
  • Seals' Party - Thursday, February 11th, 10:15-11:15 am. Doors will open for all parents at 11:15.
  • Polar Bears' Party - Thursday, February 11th, 1:45-2:45 pm. Doors will open for all parents at 2:45.
  • We will be exchanging valentine's in the classroom. To make this process easier, please do not personalize the valentines for each child and leave the "TO" blank. Please only fill out the "FROM" section. Thank you!
  • The Seals have 10 students.
  • The Penguins have 12 students.
  • The Polar Bears have 8 students.

We are looking forward to having a great time and will be preparing a song to perform at the end of class, so please make sure you arrive 15 minutes early to check it out!

Also, you have until Saturday, January 23rd to order from Scholastic Book Club, if you're interested. Scholastic Book Orders

Dear Parents,

I have exciting news. Scholastic book order flyers will be sent home very soon! You will be able to place your Scholastic Book Clubs orders online.

Browse all the great monthly Book Club selections at low prices and order online. Plus, our class earns a FREE Book every time a parent orders online.

Here's how it works:

  1. Use the information below to access the Scholastic Book Clubs Web site.
  2. Browse the titles with your child and place your order with your credit card.
  3. Your order will come to me, and your credit card payment will go directly to Scholastic's secure server. There's no need to send money to school.
  4. After I submit the entire class order to Scholastic, your order will be delivered to our classroom for your child to take home.

To get started, go to the Web address below and enter our class’s personalized user name and password in the sign-in fields on the right side of the page. Note: You do not need to create your own user name and password.
